MASON CADE PACKER.
Mason grew up on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand and started his career in short-form documentaries at the age of 13, with a focus on environmental studies and issues.
Mason left home at 16 to pursue a Bachelor of Film and Television Broadcasting Degree from the New Zealand Broadcasting School, and in that time expanded his skills to narrative filmmaking with the creation of various short films and music videos.
Mason wrote, directed, produced, shot and edited his debut feature film 'Limp-dick' at the age of 17, before merging with Micah to form Free Chicken.
Micah grew up in Bethlehem, Tauranga with an interest in a variety of arts including theatre, food technology, special effects, and documentaries.
Micah left home at 18 to pursue a Bachelor of Film and Television Broadcasting Degree from the New Zealand Broadcasting School, where he continued to develop his passion for narrative-dominant filmmaking.
Micah directed a multi-award winning HP 48 Hour short film 'Split Sibling Decision' at the age of 19, which marks the beginning of his collaboration with Mason and the creation of Free Chicken.
